OPPO has officially unveiled the Reno 16 and Reno 16c, expanding its smartphone range in the Indian market. The new handsets run on ColorOS 16, built on Android 16, and feature a durable aerospace-grade aluminium frame. Both models also come with IP66, IP68, IP69 and IP69K ratings, ensuring enhanced protection against dust and water. In addition to the smartphones, Oppo has introduced the Bubble Camera accessory and the Enco Air5 true wireless earbuds in the Indian market. Although earlier reports hinted at a starting price of Rs 59,999 for the Reno 16 series, the base variant has officially been priced at Rs 61,999.

The OPPO Reno 16 sports a 6.32-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a smooth 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of up to 1,800 nits, making it suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. Under the hood, it is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor, built on a 4nm architecture, and is paired with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. Buyers can choose between 8GB RAM with 256GB storage or a 12GB RAM and 256GB storage variant. The handset has a slim 8.22mm profile and weighs around 182 grams.
For photography, the Reno 16 packs a triple 50MP rear camera setup, consisting of a Sony LYT-600 primary sensor with optical image stabilisation (OIS), a 3.5x telephoto portrait lens, and an ultrawide camera. On the front, it features a 50MP ultrawide selfie camera with a 100-degree field of view, allowing users to fit more into every shot. All three rear cameras are capable of recording videos in up to 4K resolution at 60fps with HDR support. Keeping the device running is a large 6,700mAh battery, backed by 80W SUPERVOOC fast charging for quicker top-ups.

The OPPO Reno 16c is equipped with a spacious 6.57-inch Full HD+ AMOLED screen, offering a smooth 120Hz refresh rate and a maximum brightness of 1,400 nits for improved visibility in bright conditions. It is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chipset, built on a 4nm process, and is paired with up to 12GB of RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. The smartphone is available in three configurations: 8GB + 128GB, 8GB + 256GB, and 12GB + 256GB. It has a thickness of 8.44mm and weighs around 195 grams.
On the camera front, the Reno 16c features a triple rear camera setup comprising a 50MP primary sensor, a 50MP telephoto portrait lens with 3.5x optical zoom, and an 8MP ultrawide camera, unlike the Reno 16, which offers a higher-resolution 50MP ultrawide sensor. For selfies and video calls, it retains the same 50MP front-facing camera as its sibling. The handset is backed by a massive 7,000mAh battery with support for 80W SUPERVOOC fast charging. Both the Reno 16 and Reno 16c are offered in Starry White, Stellar Purple, and Twilight Violet colour options.

OPPO Reno 16 Series Packs Smart AI Features: Here’s What’s New
Both the OPPO Reno 16 and Reno 16c run ColorOS 16 and introduce several AI-powered features designed to improve everyday usability. A standout addition is the new AI Snap Key, a dedicated hardware button that lets users quickly save content to AI Mind Space, open shortcuts such as the camera or translator, and even record voice notes with a single press.
The Reno 16 series also introduces AI Mind Pilot, a feature that brings Gemini, Perplexity, and ChatGPT together in a single interface, allowing users to access multiple AI assistants without jumping between different apps. In addition, the Reno 16 series includes useful AI tools such as AI Bill Manager for tracking expenses, AI Menu Translation for translating restaurant menus, AI Live Translation for real-time conversations, AI Recording Sticker for organising voice recordings, and AI Scan for quickly capturing and extracting information from documents and images.

OPPO Bubble and Enco Air5 Debut in India: Price, Features and Sale Details
The OPPO Bubble is a magnetic camera accessory designed to enhance the photography experience. It features a 1.73-inch AMOLED display that mirrors the rear camera preview, making it easier to capture high-quality selfies using the phone’s primary cameras. The accessory weighs just 27.5 grams, comes with an IP54 rating for dust and splash resistance, and packs a 550mAh battery. It will be available for purchase from 9 July at a price of Rs 7,999.
In addition to the Bubble accessory, OPPO has unveiled the Enco Air5 TWS earbuds for the Indian market. Priced at Rs 3,299, the earbuds will go on sale from 2 July. They offer up to 52dB Active Noise Cancellation (ANC), feature 12mm dynamic drivers, and deliver a total battery life of up to 54 hours with the charging case. Additional highlights include Bluetooth 6.1 connectivity, an IP55 rating for dust and water resistance, and two colour options—Lavender Purple and Midnight Black.
