Netflix has officially moved ahead with One Piece Season 3, giving fans their first look at what lies ahead for the Straw Hat Pirates. While many details are still under wraps, Netflix has already confirmed the next major arc, a tentative release window, and several new cast members joining the adventure.
One Piece Season 3 Release Window
The next chapter of Netflix’s One Piece is currently targeting a 2027 debut. Although the company has not announced a specific premiere date, the series is known for its ambitious production, which involves large-scale sets, heavy visual effects, and complex action choreography. Those elements require a lengthy filming and post-production schedule before the show is ready for release.
Like previous installments, the entire season will be available exclusively on Netflix once it premieres.

What Is One Piece Season 3 About?
Season 3 will adapt the Alabasta Saga, widely considered one of the defining story arcs in Eiichiro Oda’s manga. This time, the Straw Hat Pirates travel to the desert kingdom of Alabasta, where political unrest has pushed the nation to the edge of collapse.
At the center of the conflict is Princess Vivi, who desperately seeks to save her homeland before a full-scale civil war breaks out. Unknown to most of the kingdom, the crisis is being carefully orchestrated by Sir Crocodile, one of the Seven Warlords of the Sea. Operating through the secret criminal organization Baroque Works, Crocodile aims to overthrow the kingdom and claim its hidden power for himself.
As Luffy and his crew become involved in the battle, they must face dangerous opponents, uncover hidden conspiracies, and fight to restore peace before Alabasta is lost forever. The upcoming season is expected to feature larger battles, emotional character moments, and some of the biggest action sequences seen in the live-action series so far.

Returning and New Cast Members
The Straw Hat crew will return with Iñaki Godoy leading the series once again as Monkey D. Luffy. Joining him are Mackenyu as Roronoa Zoro, Emily Rudd as Nami, Jacob Romero Gibson as Usopp, and Taz Skylar as Sanji.
Season 3 also expands the cast with several important characters from the Alabasta storyline. Charithra Chandran has been cast as Princess Vivi, while Mikaela Hoover will make her debut as Tony Tony Chopper. The season’s primary antagonist, Sir Crocodile (Mr. 0), will be portrayed by Joe Manganiello, alongside Lera Abova as Miss All Sunday (Nico Robin).
Additional newcomers include Sendhil Ramamurthy as King Nefertari Cobra, Xolo Maridueña as Portgas D. Ace, Cole Escola as Bon Clay, Daisy Head as Miss Doublefinger, and Awdo Awdo as Mr. 1. Their arrival signals the beginning of one of the franchise’s most important chapters.
