BGMI 4.6 Update Brings Midnight Hunters Mode: Release Date and New Features

BGMI has introduced a spooky and highly thrilling theme for its upcoming 4.6 update. Krafton India has confirmed the release date, and new reports suggest the inclusion of a “Midnight Hunters” feature. Following this update, the atmosphere of Erangel will become even more eerie; additionally, players will gain a new ability, and the game will feature new locations and special items.
BGMI 4.6 Update Release Date
The BGMI 4.6 update will roll out on September 16, 2026. The Midnight Hunters mode will remain available until November 16, 2026. While the main Erangel map will remain familiar, several locations will receive a dark and supernatural makeover.
Players will also find special Vampire Takeover areas at Rozhok, Mylta, Quarry and Gatka, giving these locations a completely different atmosphere.

Midnight Hunters Mode: What’s New?
The new mode will introduce creatures such as Bloodwalkers, Nightbats and the Vampire Elder. Players can also meet the new Nightkeeper character at the Hunter Guild locations in Stalber and Sosnovka Military Base.
These areas will feature new attractions, including a shooting range, clock tower and Scream Crates. Players will also get special items such as the Hunter Bandage for faster recovery, the Silvermoon Chain for fighting creatures and Twilight Bat Wings, which can be used to fly around the map.

Ocean Odyssey Returns
BGMI players will have another themed mode to enjoy as Ocean Odyssey returns to Erangel on September 30. The underwater-themed mode will be available alongside Midnight Hunters, giving players two different experiences to explore.

Once the update goes live, Android users can visit the Google Play Store and iPhone users can visit the Apple Store to search for “BGMI” and install the latest version.
