| HIGHLIGHTS • Galaxy S26 FE leak reveals a new camera design. • Expected to feature Exynos 2500 and 8GB RAM. • Launch tipped for August–September 2026. |
The Samsung Galaxy S26 FE has made an early appearance online, giving smartphone enthusiasts their first look at the company’s next Fan Edition device. Known for blending premium features with a more accessible price tag, Samsung’s FE lineup has become a regular annual release, and the S26 FE appears to be following that tradition.
The upcoming smartphone was discovered in a recent Wireless Power Consortium (WPC) certification listing carrying the model number SM-S741. Alongside the certification details, a hands-on image of the device was also revealed. The leaked image showcases a refreshed camera design on the rear panel, suggesting Samsung may be introducing a new visual identity for its affordable flagship series. As anticipation builds, this early leak offers a valuable preview of what could be coming later this year.
A Closer Look at the Galaxy S26 FE’s Updated Design
The most noticeable updates on the Galaxy S26 FE appear to be focused on its rear design. Although Samsung has retained the familiar design language of the FE series, a few subtle refinements help distinguish the device from the regular Galaxy S26 model. The standout change is the redesigned camera housing, which now adopts a raised camera island instead of the individually protruding lenses seen on previous FE devices.

This new camera module closely resembles the design approach Samsung has used on its recent Galaxy Z Fold smartphones, giving the S26 FE a more premium and modern look. That said, the camera bump appears to be positioned unusually close to the top and side edges of the phone in the leaked image. Some observers have pointed out that the placement looks slightly unbalanced compared to other Galaxy devices. However, since the phone has only surfaced in an early certification listing, there’s a possibility that the image showcases a pre-production unit rather than the final retail design.

Galaxy S26 FE Rumored Specs and Expected Price in India

While Samsung has yet to officially confirm the hardware details, several leaks have already painted a clearer picture of what to expect from the Galaxy S26 FE. According to recent reports, the smartphone could be powered by Samsung’s new Exynos 2500 processor, coupled with 8GB of RAM. The device is also expected to arrive with Android 17-based One UI software straight out of the box, offering the latest features and optimizations. If current rumors prove accurate, Samsung may unveil the handset sometime in the third quarter of the year, likely between August and September.
Pricing remains a mystery for now, but expectations can be drawn from the previous generation. The Galaxy S25 FE debuted in India with a starting price of Rs 59,999 for the 128GB model, while the 256GB and 512GB variants were priced at Rs 65,999 and Rs 77,999, respectively. Given the rumored chipset upgrade and ongoing component cost increases across the industry, the Galaxy S26 FE could see a slight price bump compared to its predecessor. As the expected launch date gets closer, more leaks and official teasers should provide a clearer picture of Samsung’s pricing strategy for the Indian market.
